Edward L. Bolster 72, of Sidney passed away Friday afternoon, August 3, 2012 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, following a long illness.
Ed was born on January 24, 1940 in McClure, NY, the son of the late Barner and Mary Belle (Fink) Bolster. He was employed by Mallory Lumber of Hancock, for many years as a sawyer.
He is survived by one daughter: Alice (Phil) Seiden of Walton, NY and three sons: Edward Bolster, Jr. of Swan Lake, NY, James Bolster of Marcy, NY, Robert Bolster of Morrisville, NY; 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, brothers, Melvin Bolster, Fishes Eddy; Jerry Bolster, Hancock; Leon Squires, Delhi; Art Bolster, Texas; one sister: Elsie Bolster, Fl ; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by 2 brothers, Nelson Bolster, and James Bolster, Sr..
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family under the direction of Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
