Erving Budine, 87, of Walton, passed away May 4, 2008 at Delaware Valley Hospital.

Erv was born April 9, 1921 in Walton, N.Y., the son of the late Harland and Pearl (Pierce) Budine. He was a graduate of Walton High School.

Erv was employed for Lyon Brothers and Lyon Brothers-Way for many years, serving as attendant, clerk, salesman, delivery, or anywhere else he was needed.

He married Esther Finch on December 3, 1948. He was predeceased by Esther on March 21, 2008.

Erv is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Cathy and Fran Zujovic, grandchildren, Ryan (Amy) and Hillary (James), his sister-in-law, Florence McDonald, brother-in-law, Roland (Sharon) Finch, and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by special friends: Tom and Estelle Barnhart & family and Josie Howland.

Erv took pride in working on his home, yard, and car. He enjoyed watching baseball and meeting with friends at the coffee shop. He always had a smile and a "hello" for everyone.

A graveside service will be held at the Walton Cemetery at 11:00AM on Friday, May 9, 2008.
