Adeline M. Muratore, 88, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 4, 2023 at home.

Adeline was born February 18, 1935 in Merrick, NY the daughter of the late John and Adeline(Stein) Ehlers. On October 31, 1951 she married William H. Whiteside who predeceased her. On October 3, 1971 she married Gerard Muratore at the Seaford Methodist Church on Long Island. He died on August 25, 2016.

Adeline was a Meat Wrapper for 39 years at Bohack Key Foods on Long Island. She enjoyed playing games on her computer, crafting, ceramics, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her great-great granddaughter, Oaklynn Dawn,who made every day special.

Adeline is survived by her loving family, children, Thompson Whiteside, John (Dawn) Whiteside, William Whiteside, Catherine (Kim) Armstrong, George Whiteside all of Walton, her step children Patricia (Joseph) Agricola of FL, Michael (Laurie) Muratore of LI, brother Ben Ehlers of LI, sisters, Anna and Bob Guarriello of , LI, Ethel Doughty of Jefferson, NY, Catherine Murray of Nevada, grandchildren, Christopher, John, Jr.(Chrissy), Carolyn, Sally, William III, Kaite(Ryan), Jacqueline(Brian), Christine(Kevin), great grandchildren, MaKayla, John III, Luke, Liam, Mars, great great granddaughter, Oaklynn Dawn, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also left behind her special companion spoiled cat Kitty aka Milkface. She was predeceased by her sister, Lottie (Wes) Symington, brother, John Ehlers, sister in law AnnaMae Ehlers grandson Wade Armstrong.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, June 9, 2023 from 12 noon to 1 PM at the First Baptist Church, 55 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 1PM with Pastor Nate Watkins and Pastor Bob Wilkie, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
