Agnes W. "Aggie" Spicer, 60 a life long resident of Walton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, August 16, 2007 at her home in Walton. Aggie was born in Walton on September 23, 1946, the daughter of the late Vernie and Doris Puffer. She was employed by Becktin-Dickenson of Hancock, as an Inspector. On May 31, 1970 Agnes married Herbert Spicer. He died in 1992. Agnes enjoyed going to the Turning Stone, Las Vegas, and Tunica, casinos. She also enjoyed playing cards with her friends on the net.

Agnes is survived by her son Herbert E. Spicer of LaVergne, Tennesee, one brother Terry (Suzanne) Puffer of Delhi, a sister, Wendy Hunt of Walton, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. . She also leaves her special friends, Virginia Cole, Myra Youmans, and Barbara McNaught .

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday afternoon, August 19, 2007 at 2:00pm at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. Burial will be in Oleout Cemetery, Franklin.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Aggie's memory may be made to Catskill Area Hospice.
