Alan L. D'Addezio, 60, of Lake Katrine NY passed unexpectedly Monday, September 26, 2016 at the Westchester Medical Center. Al, better known to some as Zeb, was born September 6, 1956 in Margaretville Hospital to Lewis D'Addezio and Jean Fichtner.

A lifelong resident of the Catskill Mountains and formerly of Walton, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and NASCAR. He had a great sense of humor and a "heart of gold". He will live in our hearts forever.

He is survived by his mothers, Jean Fichtner of Shandaken, and Mary D'Addezio of Downsville, daughters Heather (Andy) Martin of Olive Bridge and Stephanie (Kenny) Berryann of Shandaken, Nichole (Nick) Daw of Kingston, sons DJ (Patty) Shields of Mt. Tremper and Earron Shields of MN. Siblings Cindy L. Barnes of Downsville, Michele D'Addezio Doig, Binghamton, Kristie (Richard) Robinson of Walton, Lawrence Hoyt of Downsville, Sam, Artie, Bruce Umhay, Annette Wiley, Muffy Ryan, Lora Weber, Karen Fairbairn. Neice Jennifer (Matt) Wright of Walton, nephew Holden L. Gray, Downsville, 15 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and his first wife Jackie Umhay. He was predeceased by his wife Lucinda in 2009 and his father, Lewis in 1980.
