Albert Stiene, 90, of Walton passed away on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at home peacefully with his family around him. Albert loved his family and enjoyed gardening, cooking and tinkering around the house.

Albert was born on March 16,1933 in Reichenau, Gottschee (Kocsevje), Austria. The son of Matthias and Anna (Tramposch) Stiene, brother of Ann (Stiene) Ziesel. Albert came to the United States in July 12, 1955 and settled in Ridgewood Queens, New York. Albert worked as a Machinist in New York City before retiring in Walton, New York.

Albert will be remembered in the hearts of Dorothy Perz, Lorri, Salvatore, Alexa and Maxwell D'Amico, Ronald, Lori, Joshua and Matthew Ziesel, Peter, Andrew, Samantha and Madelyn Ziesel and the rest of his family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 6, 2023 at 11:30AM to 12:00PM at St. John the Baptist, 25 Benton Avenue, Walton NY where a Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 12PM with Father Edward J. Golding, celebrant. Burial will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. John's Cemetery, 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue, Middle Village, New York.
