Alice K. Howe, 84, of Hamden passed away on Monday, December 11, 2017 at O'Connor Hospital in Delhi, following a long illness.

Alice was born on December 19, 1932 in Walton, the daughter of the late William and Eugenia (Holley) Kinch.

Alice worked for many years as head waitress at the Roscoe Diner. She also worked at Buena Vista as a Clerk. Prior to that she worked as a receptionist for Cable Com, Cossett's Trucking, and Catskill Mills all in Walton.

Alice loved spending time with her family. She also enjoyed bowling, crocheting, reading, and doing puzzles.

Alice is survived by her loving family, her children, Kathleen Wood of Walton; Carolyn (Ron) Wood of Walton; Charlie (Dottie) Howe of Walton; Joanne (Dave) McEntee of Hamden; grandchildren, Ken and Jodi, Barry and Stacey, Jennifer and Dwayne, Kyle and Kellie, Rhyan, Raina, Hillary and Ron, Emily, Amanda, Dalton, Kenii, Kaedi, great grandchildren, Dylan, Bailey, Meadow, Josh, Garrett, Kaitlyn, Kylie, sister, Ada Tuz of CT; brother in law, Roger and Pat Howe of Owego, long time friend, Betty Clark of Delhi; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by grandson, Mark Anthony Gray, Jr, brother, George Kinch, sister, Barbara Robinson, and her special friend, Chuck Mangraracina.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, December 15, 2017 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Hamden Presbyterian Church, 35796 State Highway 10, Hamden where services will be held at 1 PM with Karen Marshfield, officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
