Althea C. Seaman, 84, of Walton, passed away on Tuesday morning, December 31, 2013 at Vestal Park Rehab and Nursing Center in Binghamton, NY.

Althea was born on October 4, 1929 in Trenton, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Stephen and Marion (Charles) Wells. On May 30, 1948 she married Charles O. Seaman. He died on August 22, 2009.

Althea enjoyed playing bridge, camping, reading and crossword puzzles. She was well known as a great cook. Althea was the "glue" that held her family together.

Althea is survived by her loving family, her children, Stephanie (Jerry) Rotella of Syracuse; Kim (Bob) Alvarez of Walton; Jeff (Michelle) Seaman of North Carolina; Kristin McRabie of Walton; her grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Taj, Nathan, Luke, Aaron, Bret, Shane, her great grandchildren, Dennaro, Ashton, Kiyanna, Baylee, Jaylynn, Christopher, her son-in-law, Al McRabie, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Jean.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
