Amelia F. Armstrong, 64, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 2, 2014 at her home in Walton.

Amelia was born October 28, 1949 in Baltimore, Maryland; she was the daughter of the late Francis L. and the Helen (Flowers) Armstrong. She received her BA in Journalism from the University of Arizona and her JD Law Degree from Albany Law School.

Amelia was known for her concern about the ethical treatment and protection of animals, political and personal justice, and environment protection.

Amelia is survived by her brother, Mark Richard Armstrong (Elizabeth R. Armstrong), her sister, Carol Armstrong, and her nieces, Catherine, Laura, and Emily Armstrong, and Sonia Armstrong Hijab.

A memorial meeting will be held privately, at a future time, for family and friends.
