Andrew M. "Andy" King, 76 of Walton, passed away Sunday morning, March 25, 2007 in Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown.

Andy was born in New York City on March 18, 1931, the son of the late David and Janet (McFarlane) King. On September 6, 1953 he married the former Marlene Meyer at South Kortright. He moved to the Walton area in 1963 from Pennsylvania. He was employed as an operator by S J. Bailey & Sons, Walton. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Andy loved camping, hunting, shooting trap, and woodworking.

Andy is survived by his wife: Marlene King, one daughter: Rachel ( Keith) Mason of Gansevoort, NY and one son: Richard (Cheryl) King of East Syracuse, 5 grandchildren, Jessica, Bridget, Jacob, Olivia, Ashley, 1 great grandson, Jack, 1 brother, Thomas (Shelly) King, Florida; and several special cousins.

Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday evening, March 28, 2007 from 6 to 8 PM at the Clark Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 am at the Church Of St. John The Baptist, Benton Avenue, Walton. Interment will be in Walton Cemetery.
