Ann Pollack, 87 of the Countryside Care Center, passed away Thursday morning December 23, 2004, after a short illness.
Mr. Pollack was born on June 8, 1917 in Beacon, NY, the daughter of the late William and Ann Butler. She was employed for many years at Vasser College, Poughkeepsie as a switchboard Operator. She married Stephen Pollack in Beacon. He died in 1984. Mrs. Pollack loved collecting dolls, cooking and knitting.
She is survived by 2 sons, Michael Sramek, of Delhi; John Pollack, of Walton, 6 grandchildren, William & Kathy Sramek, Michael Sramek, Derry & Sandy Srmek; Janice & Steven Vitek, Michele and Larry Phoenix, and David Hemroth; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grand child; a brother, Carl & Joan Butler, of Beacon; a sister, Roberta Butler, of Sidney; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 2 sons, William and Martin Sramek; and 3 brothers, William, Bobby, and Sonny Butler.
Friends and family may call Tuesday evening, December 28, 2004 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, where services will be held at 7:00 PM, with the Rev. Delbert Ripley, officiating.
Burial will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the Hopewell Rural Cemetery, Hopwell Junction, NY.
Memorial contributions in Mrs. Pollack's memory may be made to the Delaware County Humane Society, Delhi. Envelopes for memorial contributions are available at the funeral home.
