Anna J. Brundege, 84, a lifelong resident of Dry Brook, passed away Tuesday evening, August 21, 2012 at Bassett Healthcare of Cooperstown, NY.

Anna was born on February 29, 1928 in the town of Tompkins, the daughter of the late LaVerne and Abigail (Hornbeck) Reynolds. She married Gerald C.Brundege on July 5, 1952 at the Methodist Parsonage In Delhi. He died on October 10, 2005. Anna was employed for many years at the Delaware County Infirmary as a CNA. She was a faithful member of the Trout Creek Community Church.

Anna loved plants and feeding the birds. She touched many lives on the roads she traveled, with friends, grandchildren and other family members.

Anna is survived by her loving family, 4 sons and daughters-In-Law, William And Elyn Brundege of Mt. Morris, NY; Gerald C. and Judy Brundege, Jr. of Walton; Erph "Jim" And Mary Brundege of North Branch, NY; Wesley And Betty Brundege of Walton, NY; 9 grandchildren, Willie, Danielle, Bobbi Jo, Jessica, Joel, Keith, Alan, Brad and Stephanie; 9 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Matalyn, Mason, Malaki, Brycen, Evan, Patricia Kay, Damien and Christian, Sisters and Brother-in-law, Mary VanValkenburg of Afton, NY; Dorothea Brundege, Franklin; Charlie Loker of Delhi, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Anna was predeceased by 2 brothers, Fred and Jim Reynolds, 4 sisters, Loretta Loker, Betty Simpson, Freida McKee, and Beatrice Higley.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday morning, August 25, 2012 from 10 AM to 12 noon at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton where services will be held at noon with the Rev. David Gatje, officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery,
