Anna E. Scott, 86, a lifelong resident of Walton passed away Thursday evening, January 21, 2010 at home following a long illness.

Anna was born on March 29, 1923 in Walden, NY; the daughter of the late Edward and Anna E. (Juba) Luquer. She was a member of the Trout Creek Fire Dept., Ladies Auxiliary, the Delaware Valley Hospital Ladies Auxiliary and St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. She worked for Bard-Parker, Hancock, retiring in 1985.

Anna is survived by 2 sons, Bradley Scott, Coventry; William (Linda) Scott, Walton, 2 daughters, Charlene (Mike) Skaletski, Tampa, Florida, Nancy, (Jim) Backus, Trout Creek; 15 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, a sister, Margaret Sites, Virginia, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 1 son, David Scott, and a great granddaughter, Brianna Backus.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, May 20, 2010 at St. John the Baptist Church, Benton Ave., Walton, with the Rev. Matthew H. Frisoni celebrant.
