Anthony DeSisto, 94 of Deposit, passed away Wednesday morning, January 14, 2009 in Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, NY.

Tony was born in Yonkers, on November 26, 1914 the son of the late Vincenzo and Concetta (Purro) DeSista. He enjoyed watches, rings, wallets, dogs and attending the programs at Maple Leaf. He was well liked and proud to be Italian.

Tony is survived by 3 sisters, Angela Duggan, Connie Autoliano, Mary Abbatiello, several nieces, nephews and cousins; his adopted family, Shirley Wormuth, Deposit; and the many friends he has touched along the way.

Friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 from 9 to 10:30 AM at the Clark Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton where services will be held at 10:30 AM with the Rev. Matthew H. Frisoni, officiating. Burial will take place in South Brookfield Cemetery, in the spring.
