Arlene Y. Miller, 90, of Walton passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton.

Arlene was born on August 25, 1921 in Jermyn, Pennsylvania; the daughter of the late Frederick and Mildred (Seymour) Young. On June 2, 1946 she married Rex Miller, he predeceased her on March 15, 2002.

Arlene was employed by Bendix Corporation in Sidney, as an Inspector. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Walton where she was a member of the Choir. Arlene loved music and especially enjoyed listening to Lawrence Welk and Daniel O'Donnell.

Arlene is survived by her loving family, her children, Linda (Robert) Darrow of Sidney, NY; Glenn (Debbie) Miller of Wentzville, MO; Ronald (Mary) Miller of Higginsville, MO; Gene (Jackie) Miller of Dickinson, ND; Wayne (Debra) Miller of Walton, NY; Roger Miller of Farmington, NY; her grandchildren, Kelly, Kerry, (Brad); Kristy, Kacey, Korey, (Tim); Stacie, Glenn, Jr.(Beth); Amanda (Sam); Jeffrey, Lisa (Ryan), Brien, Sarah, John, Jamie, Joe, (Connie); her great grandchildren, Branden, Kortney, Cameren, Kassidy, Dakota, Dawson, Dylan, Abby, Garland III, Paige, Brooke, Lilly Kate, Hudson, Koen, Kyle, her brother, Lloyd (Barbara) Young of Corning, NY; her sister, Grace (Joe) Wiggins of Horseheads, NY; her sister in laws, Betty Gerbert of Jermyn, Joyce Albert of Jermyn, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her great grandson, Jasen Tompkins, her brothers, William, Alvin, and Donald Young, and her sister, Thelma Chubb.

Friends and family are invited to call on Wednesday, October 5 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 PM, where the family will be in attendence in the evening at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY, where services will be held on Thursday morning at 11 AM, with the Rev. Mark Del Giudice, officiating. Burial will be held 11 AM on Friday in Jermyn Cemetery, Jermyn, PA.
