Arletta J. DuMond of Walton passed away quietly at Delaware Valley Hospital, late Thursday evening, July 16, 2009 at the age of 74.

She was married to John R. DuMond for 55 years until his passing on October 4, 2008.

Arletta is survived by her loving children Fred (Terri) DuMond, Delhi; Cathy (Chuck) Wagner, Gresham, Oregon; 5 grandchildren, Maureen, Katrina, Jason, Travis and April; 1 great granddaughter, Chloe; her brother, Rolland (Donna) Beers of Walton; sisters, Bernice (Tom) O'Neill of Albany and Betty (Larry) Paupst of Newfane; a favorite niece, Maureen and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

She worked for the Annex Restaurant in Walton for over 20 years. Arletta was famous for her ability in the kitchen, She was an accomplished chef and enjoyed treating her family and friends to exceptional meals made with love and care. She was a member of Plymouth Community Church.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Monday morning, July 20, 2009 at the Plymouth Community Church with Pastor Tom Davis, officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.
