Arthur R. "Dusty" Rose, Jr, 50 of Walton, passed away Saturday morning, November 11, 2006, surrounded by his family, after a long illness.

Dusty was born in Tuxedo on December 3, 1955, the son of Arthur R. and Charlotte Youmans Rose Sr. He lived in the Rockland County area for many years until 1993 when he moved to Walton. He married the former Patricia Insinga on May 15, 2004 in Walton. He was last empoyed as a laborer at McDonalds, Walton. Dusty was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed watching Nascar racing, and the New York Giants. He also liked making wood crafts. During fair week he worked on South Street, and loved meeting all who came through.

He is survived by his loving wife, Patti, a son, Kris and his wife Angela Rose of Westbrookville, a daughter Karyl and her husband Joseph Townsend, North Carolina, 2 grandchildren, Brittany and Joseph, 3 stepchildren, Jessica, Pattyanne Insinga, and Tina Burghart, 2 step grandchildren, Dallas and Zoey, mother in law, Patricia Gatto, 2 sister in laws, Tania and Sal Miceli, Donna and Joseph Gozdek, several nieces, nephews, cousins. He is also survived by his dogs, Fairway, Buster, Shania, and Bear who were always by his side during his illness.

He was predeceased by his father, Arthur R. Rose Sr. last Thursday, November 9, 2006.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday, November 15, 2006 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. A double grave side service for Dusty and his father, Art will be held at 2:00 pm at the Walton Cemetery, Walton.

Memorial contributions in Dusty's memory may be made to Catskill Area Hospice.
