Ashely Jane McGovern, 32, of Walton passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2020 at Wilson Medical Center following a long illness.

Born August 10, 1987 in Oneonta, she was a daughter of Calvin Roe and Sarah Borggreen.

Ashely attended Delaware Academy Central Schools and received her G.E.D in 2000. She had a big heart and loved caring for people and that showed very much in her work as a Nurse's Aide. She loved being around children, making them laugh and smile and loved being around her family, especially when they got together for barbecues.

Survivors include her father Calvin Roe of Hamden; mother Sarah Borggreen of Walton; children Charisma Barnes of Delhi and Nicholas Barnes of Delhi; brother Calvin Roe (Amber) of Delhi; sister Trisha Kiesling (Amanda) of Jefferson and former spouse Ryan McGovern of Long Island. Ashely is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Ashely will be private at the convenience of the family.
