Audrey M. Smith, 59, of Walton passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at Fox Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Audrey was born on May 6, 1953 in Newburgh, NY; the daughter of the late Richard and Marion Lewis Smith. She was employed as a CNA for many years at Countryside Care Center. Audrey loved to bowl where she belonged to many leagues, sewing and knitting, ceramics and mowing her lawn. She also loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, working on her flower garden and making blankets for all her grandkids.

She is survived by her fiancé, David Terry, Walton; two daughters, Marilyn and Bill Copeland, Kimberly and Kevin Gregory, both of Waltonher grandchildren, James, Allison, Tonia, Dustin, Garrett, Ethan, Katelynn and Klair; five sisters, Mary Jean Possemato of Trout Creek; Melora McDonald of Deposit; Verna and Milt Fitch and Linda and Ken Fitch, both of Walton; Margaret Smith of Delhi; three brothers, Michael Smith of Walton; Sam and Joanne Smith of Sidney Center; Henry Smith of Walton, several nieces, nephews and cousins and her many very special friends

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Tuesday evening, January 15, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, where services will be held on Wednesday morning at 11 AM. Following the service at the funeral home, there will be a gathering at the Walton Fire Dept.
