Barbara Henn, 73, of Walton, formerly of Long Island passed away on Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Wilson Memorial Hospital of Johnson City, following a short illness.

Barbara was born on December 27, 1939 in Brooklyn, the daughter of the late James and Rita (McNamara) Carey. She was married to Louis Charles Henn. He died November 24, 2004. She was a bookkeeper for Newsday Inc. in Melville, New York. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Barbara is survived by her family, her sons, David Baker of Walton, NY; Daniel and Stephanie Baker of Islip, NY; her grandchildren, Ayana, Kayla, her sister, Doris (Ralph) Michell of Bloomington, Ind.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, James Carey, and her sister, Rita Thompson.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday afternoon, January 19, 2013 at 1 PM at the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton, with the Rev. Edward J. Golding, officiating. Arrangements are with Courtney funeral Home, Walton.
