Barbara J. Mullineaux, 63 of Walton, passed away Saturday morning, February 17, 2007, at home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Walton, on January 30, 1944, Barbara was the daughter of the late George and Eleanor McCullagh Scofield. She married Bert Mullineaux, and had a blessed 45 years together.

She was a Homemaker, and considered taking care of her family the most important job she could have. Barbara loved country music, sewing, growing flowers, shopping at K-Mart, and spending time with her family. She was an all around loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who also loved to clean her house. When she was cleaning, it was best not to get in her way.

She is survived by her loving husband: Bert; five sons: Steven Mullineaux and his fiancee, Tina of Sanitaria Springs,Bert Mullinauex Jr., Daniel (Tammy) Mullineaux, Brian (Cheyanne) Mullineaux, Jamie Mullineaux all of Walton; 6 grandchildren, Bert III, Amber, Derrick, Stephanie, Kali, Dalton, 1 great-grandson, Toby, 3 sisters, Betty Waters, Linda Banks, Carol (Kevin) DeSilva; 3 brothers, Richard (Geraldine) Scofield, Gerald Scofield, Gary (Raylynn) Scofield; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by 1 daughter, Brenda Lee Mullineaux, 2 brothers, George Jr. and Bruce Scofield.

Friends and family are invited to call at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton on Monday evening, February 19, 2007, from 6 to 8 PM. Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the family plot in Walton Cemetery.
