Barbara M. Possemato, 87, of Pulaski, formerly of Walton, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at St Joseph Hospital in Syracuse, following a long illness.

Barbara was born on September 29, 1930 in Hancock, the daughter of the late Laurence and Frances I (Kelsey) Wood. On July 8, 1950 she married Pasquale Possemato. He died on October 27, 2012.

Barbara was a Job Coach for Delaware County Office of the Aging in Delhi, for many years. She was a member of the St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Walton and attended St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Oneonta. She enjoyed cooking, crafts, camping, but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her loving family, her children, Rocco "Rocky" Possemato of Richland, NY; Anthony and Cassandra Possemato of St. Johnsville, NY; Lisa and Walter Kinch of Walton, NY; grandchildren, Rocky, LeeAnn, Brenda, Marco, James, Alycia, Anthony II, Robert, Mallory, and Kiara, several great grandchildren, a brother, Phil Cole of FL; brother and sisters in law, Anthony and Peg Possemato of Walton; Carl Possemato of Biloxi, MS; Carmela Wahl of Hancock, NY; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her children, Robert Wahl and Rosalyn Pegas, and grandson, Devin Kinch.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 11 AM to 1 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where a Prayer Service will be held at 1 PM with the Rev. Edward J. Golding, officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery.
