Barbara Victoria Tripp, 98, of Walton passed away on Monday, July 27, 2015 at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton; surrounded by her loving family.
Barbara was born on March 27, 1917 in Rockrift, NY. She is the daughter of the late Lorie and Estella (Hunt) Rivenburg. On October 3, 1986 she married Morris Tripp in Chittenango, NY.
Barbara was a self-employed Beautician in Walton. She was a devoted member of the Pines Brook Baptist Church and Woman's Missionary Fellowship. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and making baby clothes for many children in Walton.
Barbara is survived by her loving family, her children, Arlene Curtis of SC; and Millard (Willa) Harris (Bub and Midge) of Walton her grandchildren, Patrick (Terry) Conklin of Downsville; Laura (Mike) Harmon of SC; Brent (Maureen) Curtis of SC; Brenda Curtis of SC; Lura (Chris) Jackson of Delaware; Keith Coons of PA; Kristie Coons of VA; Kevin Coons of Walton, Ken (Mary) Coons of Walton; Lynette (Bruce) Devost of Unadilla; Jolene Terry of Sidney Center her step grandchildren, Barbara (Allen) Kuhlow of CA; Robert Brundege of Walton and Cathy Brundege, many great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husbands, Millard Harris, Fred Miller and Morris Tripp daughter, Elsie and Keith Coons, her son- in-law, Roy Curtis, granddaughter, Barbara Conklin, and step-grandson, Gary Brundege, brothers, William, Theodore, sisters, Dora, Macy, Isabel, Ruth, Iva and Mildred.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015at 1:00PM at the Pines Brook Baptist Church, 1293 Left Pines Brook Road, Walton with the Rev. Carl Butler, officiating. Burial will then follow in the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
Memorial Contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to Pines Brook Baptist Church.
