Walton author dies.

Beatrice M. Grotevant Bennett age 94, passed away December 30, 2025. The daughter of Henry and Blanche Bailey Grotevant.

Beatrice is survived by her sons; Dennis and Judy Bennett of Downsville, NY., Jerry and Maryann Bennett of Oro Valley, AZ., her grandchildren; Daniel (Tiffany) Bennett of Downsville, NY., and Erica (Stephen) Stupka of Dryden, NY., her great grandchildren; Brodie, Tyler, Mollie, Olivia, David, Maddie Starr, and her sister Marion Barber, of Walton, NY.

Beatrice was preceded in death by her husband Lynn, parents, brothers; Alfred, Raymond, and LeRoy and her sisters; Julia Welsh, Irma Pierce, Frances Beardslee and twin sister Bernice Scott.

A graveside service will be held in the spring at the family's convenience.
