Walton – Beatrice Leona McLennan, 83 passed away Friday morning February 20, 2004, in the Forsyth Medical Center Winston-Salem, NC.

Mrs. McLennan was born in Ontario Providence, Canada on June 13, 1920 the daughter of Harold and Eileen Wood Wanamaker.

Mrs McLennan retired from Reynolds Metal, Massena, NY and relocated to Palatka, Florida where she resided for twenty years and was an active member of the Eagles Auxiliary. Most recently she lived in Kernersville, NC to be close to her daughter and for the past six weeks she was a resident of Walnut Ridge Assisted Living in Walnut Cove, NC. She was preceded in death by her husband James Charles McLennan, on January 11, 1978

Survivors include her son, Charles James McLennan and wife Ruthie of Corning, NY; her daughter Claudia M. Covell and husband Harvey of Kernersville, NC; granddaughter Lisa Regner of Baltimore, MD; grandson Matthew McLennan of Ithaca, NY; great grandchildren, Jillian and Keenan Regner both of Baltimore, MD.

Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon, February 22, 2004 at 2:00 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St. Walton, with the Rev. Suzanne Cole, Rector of Christ Episcopal Church, officiating. A calling hour will be held one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at in the Walton Cemetery, in the spring.
