Betty M. Siska, 85 of Delhi, NY, passed away Saturday, October 27, 2007 in the Countryside Care Center, after a long illness.

Betty was born in Jeanette, Pennsylvania on September 7, 1922 the daughter of the late Wilbur and Myrtle (Ressler) Stratton. She was a Legal Secretary for many years. She was also a girl scout leader when her daughters were young. Betty loved to travel and see new things. She also liked to go bowling. She also provided kinder care until she was 78. Betty was also a loving mother and grandmother.

Betty is survived by 2 daughters, Cheryl Harper, Hamden, Darce (Frank) Shiels, Pleasant Valley; 2 brothers, Ross and William, 4 grandchildren, Rebecca (Dave) Berggren, Nick Reoh, Christopher (Beth) Shiels, Brian (Nicola) Shiels, 2 great grandchildren, Owen Shiels and Makena Berggren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday morning, October 29, 2007 from 10 to 11 AM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home 25 Townsend St., Walton where services will be held at 11 AM with the Rev. Joe Bokel, officiating. Interment will follow in Hamden Cemetery.
