Beulah Francisco, 99, of Delhi passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born March 30, 1920 in Bloomville, New York, she was the daughter of the late Burton and Grace Cleveland Trusdell.
Beulah was a homemaker for many years helping raise six wonderful children. After her retirement, Beulah took great pride in raising and showing Oxen with her late husband Cecil. They were a staple for many years at the Delaware County Fair showing their oxen. Beulah and Cecil were members of the Association of New England Ox Teamsters and would look forward to the Associations meetings in Vermont where they could visit their many great friends they made over the years. Beulah was a great cook and baker and was most known for her delicious molasses cookies. She enjoyed listening to country and bluegrass music and loved to dance. Beulah was the first one on the dancefloor at weddings and family events. She will be truly missed by all who knew her.
Survivors include her children Richard Briscoe (Liliane) of East Meredith, Phyllis Heannings of Unadilla, Janice Burdick (Alden) of Bloomville, Barbara Miller (Glen) of Reiner, VA and Laura Aji (Frank) of South Glens Falls; step-daughters Barbara Horton and Cecelia Northrup (Richard) and son-in-law Larry Eichler. Beulah is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and step-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her beloved husband Cecil Francisco who passed away on May 12, 2002 whom she married December 21, 1974 in Treadwell; daughter Shirley Eichler; brother William Trusdell and son-in-law Wallace Heannings.
A service to celebrate Beulah's life will be held on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 10 A.M. at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton with Pastor Dennis Murray officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery. In keeping with Beulah's wishes there will be no calling hours.
Memorial donations in Beulah's memory may be made to Catskill Area Hospice and Palliative Care, 297 River Street Service Road, Suite 1, Oneonta, NY 13820.
