Beverley H. Thomas, 86, of Cooperstown passed away on Friday, August 17, 2012 at Otsego Manor in Cooperstown, NY.

Beverley was born February 22, 1926 in Oneonta the daughter of the late Fred L. and Marjorie (Cornell) Hungerford. She was a graduate of the Class of 1944 in

Walton.

She married Allen F. Thomas, Sr. in Oneonta, September 1, 1972.

Beverley lived in Walton for many years before moving to Sidney. Later she lived in Oneonta and Milford. She had been employed at JJ Newberry's in Walton in the 1940's and in the 1980's she went to work for Astrocom in Oneonta. In her spare time she enjoyed doing puzzles, flowers, shopping and her favorite cats. She took great pride in keeping her home spotless.

Beverley is survived by her loving family, her nieces and nephews, Niles Brundege, Sheryl (William) Edwards and Sharon (Robert) O'Dell of Walton, her step-children, Alan and Larry Thomas, E Richard Casler, and her brother in law, Victor Johnson, Florida. She was predeceased by her husband, Allen Thomas, her sister, Alice Brundege Johnson, a step-daughter, Virginia Casler and a nephew, Dennis Brundege.

A graveside service will be held in the Walton Cemetery at 11AM on August 24, 2012 with Rev. Bert More, officiating.
