Beverly M. Parkinson, 75, of Walton, formerly of Rockland County passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Fox Hospital in Oneonta.

Beverly was born May 4, 1937 in Stoney Point, New York the daughter of the late John and Ruth (Call) Palmer. On August 18, 1957 she married Robert L. Parkinson, Sr. at St. Luke's Church in Haverstraw.

Beverly was employed by Letchworth Village as a Supervising Therapy Aide for 35 years. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting baby outfits, photo albums, dolls, and crafts.

Beverly is survived by her husband, Robert L. Parkinson, Sr. her children, Robert L. Parkinson, Jr. John M. (Joan) Parkinson, Leon D. (Laura) Parkinson, Renie (Dudley) Boycott, Leonard J. (Lynn) Parkinson, Leland R. (Lisa) Parkinson, her 24 grandchildren, her brother, Matt (Margaret) Palmer, her sisters, Phyllis Stay, Louise Palmer, her 24 great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, March 22, 2013 from 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, NY 13856. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Memorial Contribution's in Beverly's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
