Bonnie M. MacDonald, 66, of Walton, passed away with her family by her side, Monday evening, September 8, 2008 at Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton, following a long and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on August 9, 1942 in Walton, the daughter of the late Elmer and Frances Budine McAdams.

Mrs. MacDonald married John W. MacDonald on July 23, 1960.

Bonnie was an avid doll and antique collector, she enjoyed yard sales and always "dickering" for the best deal on the treasurers she collected. She also operated a small antique shop at her home for several years. Above all else her main career was raising her family, she was a faithful and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her family was a main source of pride and was her life's work.

She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, John W. MacDonald of Walton; one daughter, Kim M. (Mitch) Bartlett of Walton; grandchildren, Matthew, Corey, Ryan and Wade; brothers, Ronald (Dema) McAdams and Bill (Dodie) McAdams both of Walton; sister, Joan (late Joe) Caruso of Walton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call on the family on Wednesday evening, September 10, 2008 from 6 – 8 pm at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Thursday morning, at the funeral home with the Rev. Jennifer Matison Juliano officiating. Burial will follow at Walton Cemetery, Walton.
