Obituary

Brandon J. Shelton, 19, a lifelong resident of Walton passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, April 14, 2012.

Brandon was born on August 6, 1992 in Walton, the son of Scott Shelton and Tammy Rynsky. He was a 2010 graduate of Walton Central School. He was employed as a glazier by Mike Spaccaforo of Forno Ent., Inc., Trout Creek.

Brandon loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling four-wheeling and riding dirt bikes. He also loved working on his new truck, in which he had a lot of pride. Brandon also enjoyed helping people in any way he could.

Brandon is survived by his loving family, his mom, Tammy, Walton; his sister and best friend, , Miranda Shelton, Walton, his dad, Scott and Nicole of Trout Creek, his brothers, Hunter Shelton and Kyle Cash, sisters, Paige Shelton and Taylor Cash all of Trout Creek; his grandparents, Val and Jeff Bryden, Long Island; Joan Springman, West Point; and Steve Shelton, Trout Creek; aunt and uncle, Rich and Rain Sarrantonio, his cousins, Justin, Alyssa and Nicholas Sarrantonio, several aunts, uncles and cousins, plus his special group of friends, Aaron Holdosi, Korrey and Kasey Bowker, Tyler Palmatier, Fred and Freddie Babcock, Dustin Van Valkenburg, Erik Bessimer, Chris Rice, Jarod Rolfe, Lucas Wildenstein, Roger Reynolds, and Brian Wood; his dog, Marshmallow and the many other people he had touched in his lifetime.

Special thanks to Katie (Hodges) Backus, Heather Goodrich, Tammy Tompkins, Danielle Castro, Helena French and Brian Wood, for the special care they have provided the family.

A special "Celebration of Brandon's Life" will be held at the Delaware County Fairgrounds on Saturday afternoon, April 21, 2012 at 3 PM with those able, to bring a dish to pass.
