It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda L. Fisher MacDonald, who left us on October 9, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Brenda was 64 years old when her long-term illness took her from us. Born on September 11, 1961, in Walton, NY, Brenda was a vibrant spirit whose warmth touched the lives of everyone she met.

Brenda enjoyed spending all of her time with her grandkids, gardening, watching and feeding birds and music. She really enjoyed shopping and phone calls with her sister, Tammy Fisher Gardepe. Brenda had a unique ability to light up a room with her infectious smile, and she leaves behind a legacy of kindness and compassion that will be deeply missed by friends, family, and the community. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Brenda was survived by her beloved children, Joshua MacDonald and Tamara MacDonald. Her sister, Tammy Fisher Gardepe (Brian Marble). Her grandchildren, Brycen and Bentley MacDonald, Myles and Walker Williams, and many of her nieces and nephews.

Brenda was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Eleanor Fisher and her brothers, Gary and Brian Fisher.

Calling hours will be held at New Hope Community Church in Walton, NY, October 24, 2025, from 4pm-6pm. The family requested that everyone please dress semi-formal.  Friends and loved ones are invited to gather and share their cherished memories, honoring the incredible impact Brenda made during her time with us. Burial will be held privately at the Walton Cemetery.
