Bruce J. McClenon, 94 a lifetime resident of Walton, passed away early Friday morning March 4, 2005 in the Wilson Memorial Hospital Johnson City, after a short illness.
Mr. McClenon was born on September 25, 1910 in Hamden, the son of the late Bert and Mabel Tiffany McClenon. On November 24, 1932 he married Freda Beecher in Franklin. He and his wife Freda owned and operated the Brulene Farm. Mr McClenon was a member of the Holstein-Fresian Association of America. In his free time he loved to hunt, fish, play dominoes, pinochle, and was a great Delaware Co. Fair goer.
He is survived by his son Donald and Connie McClenon, of Walton, a daughter Janet Hoyt, of East Meredith, 8 grandchildren, Lorraine and Brian Francisco, Thomas and Norma Hoyt, Penny Hoyt, Edward and Ann McClenon, Andrew and Malissa McClenon, Casey and Stacey McClenon, Kami and Nathan Munn, Ashley McClenon and her fiancé, Kyle Bowker, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Freda on March 28, 2000, a daughter, Arlene McClenon, on April 22, 2002, 2 brothers, Ralph and Robert McClenon, and a son-in-law, Norman Hoyt.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday March 6, 2005 at 2:00 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, with the Rev. Peggy Fabrizio, officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery, in the spring.
