Bunny Sue Houck, 76, of Sidney passed away on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown.

Bunny was born October 23, 1946 in Walton, NY the daughter of the late Charles and Hilda (Vickers) Houck.

Bunny worked for Sunnydale for many years as a Floral Designer. She was a 4-H Leader for 9 years. Bunny enjoyed making quilts, Afghans, doing crafts, and working on puzzles. She loved Christmas and going to the Delaware County Fair. Over the years she had many special cats that she loved.

Bunny is survived by her loving family, her son, Shawn Springett of Sidney, grandchildren, Brittany, Kierstin, Stephanie, sister, Shannon (John) Shelton of Sidney, brothers, Patrick Houck (Pamela) of Walton, Matt Houck (Sheri Soules) of Walton, 2 great grandchildren, Avery and Milani and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 4pm at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton with Pastor Larry Light, Officiating. Visitation will follow the funeral service from 5pm to 7pm where the family will receive family and friends. Burial will be held on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 10am at Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
