C. Peter Fisk, 62 of Walton, passed away early Friday after a short illness.

Peter was born on October 27, 1942 in Liberty, the son of the late Joel M. and Irene Wood Fisk Sr. He was a graduate of Orange County Community College and the State University at Albany with an MBA. He was self employed as a certified public accountant in Walton for many years.

Peter was a member of the N.Y.State CPA Assn; a former member of the Royale Oasis; he was an avid reader, gardener, camper, fisherman and Civil War enthusiast. He was also a strong supporter of the Republican Party.

He is survived by his significant other Jane Miller, of Oneonta; two daughters: Amelia Fisk Foote and her husband Russell, of Downsville; Charlene Fisk and her partner Margaret Farrell of Atlanta, Georgia; one son: Harrison Fisk and his partner Erin Isbell of Johnson City; his grandson, Dylan Fisk; the mother of his children, Joyce Fisk, of Downsville; his special friends, Kim Miller and Gordon Soroka; Robert Miller and Tonya Fullington; and Ty Miller; several nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Joel Fisk.

Friends and family may pay their respects on Sunday November 7, 2004 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton where funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM., with the Rev. Joseph Upole, pastor of the Colchester Community Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Lew Beach Cemetery.
