Cameren R. Tompkins, 22, of Downsville passed unexpectedly on Thursday, November 10, 2016.

Cameren was born on April 5, 1994 in Walton, the son of Doug Tompkins and Kelly Cable.

He graduated from Downsville Central School Class of 2012.

Cameren was a self-employed farmer who raised goats. He loved spending time with his family, helping people doing odd jobs, and generally being outside, enjoying his favorite past times, fishing, trapping, and deer hunting. He also enjoyed the Wednesday auctions at Chambers Auctions, Unadilla.

Cameren is survived by his loving family, his mother, Kelly Cable (Mickey Finn) of Oneonta; father, Doug Tompkins of Downsville; brother, Branden Tompkins of Downsville; sisters, Kourtney (Cody) Stone of Walton; Kassidy (Brett Gladstone) Tompkins of Walton; grandparents, Richard Tompkins (Cindy Craft) of Downsville; Linda (Robert) Darrow of Sidney; Robert (Lynda) Cable of East Branch; niece, Kenzley Stone; uncle, Richard (Herm) (Jennifer) Tompkins; aunts, Connie (Alan) Watson, Linda (Richard) Walley: and many many cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Jasen Tompkins, and his grandmother, Marylyn Tompkins.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday. November 14, 2016 from 2 to 5 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton. Following visitation at the funeral home, the family will be gathering at the Downsville Fire Dept., for refreshment and all are welcome to come. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
