Carolyne J. Kirker, 83, of Downsville formerly of Wayne, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 29, 2023 at home.

Carolyne was born November 16, 1939 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Harry and Mildred (Feguson) Swayne. On January 5, 1963 she married Thomas Kirker in Paterson, NJ. He predeceased her on July 21, 2018.

Carolyne worked for many years as an RN Supervisor at Countryside Care Center in Delhi, NY. She enjoyed buying and selling antiques with her late husband. Tom and Carolyne owned and operated Kirker's Inn in Hawthorne, NJ for many years. She was a member of the Eastern Stars and held many offices.

Carolyne loved her family and enjoyed taking care of her children and grandchildren.

Carolyne is survived by her loving family, her son, Thomas Kirker, III of Downsville, Kathleen Kirker of Penn Yann, Betseylynn (James) Baxter of Downsville, grandchildren, Thomas, Cole, Adam, Megan, Ryan (Molly), Alyssa (Michael), Krista (Brenon), Nicholas (Alison), and Justin, great grandchildren, Maizie, Theodore, Nathan, and Ameila, sister, Mildred Elizabeth "Betsey" Mason of East Dennis, MA, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Barbara Baker.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. The family is in the care of Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
