Cassandra A. Donnelly, 60, of Walton, passed away Saturday morning, October 20, 2012 at Robinson Terrace of Stamford, following a long illness.

Cassie was born on June 23, 1952 in Walton, the daughter of Allan and Eleanor (Yarnes) Donnelly. She was employed by Resources for Industry for many years.

Everytime someone came to visit she jumped up and made coffee. She also enjoyed making slippers and latch hook rugs for all of her family and friends. She loved her nieces and nephews to death, the smaller the better. Cassie nor her family ever dwelled on her disability. She lived life to the fullest, including traveling around the U.S. She will be greatly missed by all.

Cassie is survived by her loving family; her mother Eleanor Donnelly, Walton; her brothers and sisters, Allan Donnelly, Swain, NY; Janet and Tom Champlin, Downsville; Laurie and Mike Bradshaw, Logan Utah; Tom and Ginny Donnelly, Walton and Patricia Boyers, High Point, North Carolina, 21 Nieces and nephews, several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Cassie was predeceased by her father Allan G. Donnelly on May 7, 1996.

A graveside service will be held at Walton Cemetery on Friday, October 26, 2012 at 11 AM with the Rev. Bert More, officiating.
