It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Cecilia Jacob, aged 76, of Walton, NY, who departed this life on February 21, 2025. She was a beloved daughter, devoted spouse, cherished mother, and grandmother leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that touched all who knew her.

Cecilia was born on February 12, 1949, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. She developed her warm spirit and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Her vibrant personality brought light into the lives of those around her. She was united in marriage to her devoted spouse, Oleksandr, with whom she shared countless memories, and a deep bond rooted in love and companionship.

Cecilia enjoyed spending time outdoors, crafting and quilting, and spending time with her family and friends.

Cecilia is survived by her loving family, her husband, Oleksandr, daughter, Annette and her husband Joseph, her granddaughters Sophia and Mikaela, and her brother, Julio and his wife, Veronica.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday March 1, 2025, at 11am at St John the Baptist Church located at 25 Benton Ave, Walton, NY 13856, with a luncheon to follow at the Parish Hall.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to Cecilia's favorite charity, "Our Place", the Walton Senior Center, located in United Presbyterian Church in Walton, NY where Cecilia's mother, Lydia attended, and Cecilia volunteered her time. As we mourn the loss of Cecilia, we pause to reflect on the moments we shared with her, the lessons she imparted, and the love she freely gave. May her memory inspire us to be just as kind, giving, and loving as she was throughout her life.
