Christina K. Hulse-Hodges 46, of Downsville passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 3, 2012.

Christina was born April 29, 1965 in Walton, the daughter of Robert Hulse and Sandra Hall. She was a graduate of Walton Central School.

Christina was employed by Delaware County. She was a former member of the Walton Central School Board of Education. In her spare time she enjoyed to read and write short stories, and writing her blog, "Christina's Café". She loved to sing especially with her family in the Hulse Brothers Band. Chris enjoyed photography, on both sides of the camera.. She will be remembered by her laugh, her quick wit, and her sense of humor.

Christina is survived by her loving family, her daughter, Katie (Zachery) Backus, Walton; her grandchildren, Jaxon and Linkin, her father, Bob (Sue) Hulse, her mother, Sandee Hall (Susie Conklin) of Downsville; her sisters, Lisa Loucks of Walton; Shelley (Jon) Polomcean of East Branch; Heather (Rod) Keesler of East Branch;her brothers, Robert (Janet) Hulse of Trout Creek; Jason Hulse of Binghamton; her special cousins, Chuck and Jodie, her special Uncle Bill, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her nephew, Dylan Polomcean.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, April 6, 2012 from 10 AM to 12 PM, noon at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, NY where funeral services will be held at 2PM with the Rev. Bert More, officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery.
