Claire Anne Donaldson, 73, of Roxbury formerly of Walton passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011 at Kirkside Adult Home of Roxbury following a long illness.

Claire was born on June 25, 1938 in the Bronx, the daughter of the late Edwin and Quindelin (Waite) McCue. On October 15, 1956 she married Robert J. Donaldson Sr. in Yonkers, NY, he predeceased her on November 24, 1996.

Claire was employed by Bard-Parker, Hancock and later at Del-Met, Walton. In her spare time she enjoyed playing Canasta, doing puzzles, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons: Edward Donaldson of Otego, NY; Tom (Velva) Donaldson of Blackwell, Oklahoma; Bob (Shelley) Donaldson of Walton; John (Shelly) Donaldson of Ponca City, OK; her grandchildren, Steven, David, Connie, Edward, Sarah, Heather, Vanessa, Robbie, Megan, JJ, Christopher, Amber, Lizzy, Dakota, Courtney, Nathan, Desiree, Garrett, Andrea, Kaicee, several great grandchildren,her special friends, Burnell and Diane Cobane,Jean Bush, her family at Kirkside of Roxbury, and l niece, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her grandson, Charles Donaldson, her sisters, Marie Hale and Joan McCue, and her brother, Vincent McCue.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton, New York.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
