Colten I. Slone, 2, of Walton became an angel on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Strong Memorial Hospital of Rochester, following a long struggle.

Colten was born on March 14, 2014 in Leesburg, Florida; the son of Tim Slone and Heather Smith.

He is survived by his loving family, his mom , Heather Smith, his papa, William Caputo, his father, Tim Slone, his grandparents, Penny and Dan Smith, Walton; Clay and Tracy Maudlin, Fl; great-grandmothers, Maxine Moon, Wellington, FL; Claudia Smith, Walton; brother, Cannon Slone, Walton; aunts and uncles, Taylor, Tiffany, Cortney and Lysa Stadler; Ashley Smith, DJ and Travis Button and several cousins. He was predeceased by an uncle, Chad Stadler, January 14, 2016.

A Prayer Service will be held at 2:30 pm on Sunday, May 15 at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, with the Rev. Edward Golding, officiating.
