Cora Cook, 79 of Walton passed away Thursday June 17, 2004 at home after a long illness.

Mrs. Cook was born in Otego October 10, 1924, the daughter of the late Harry and Atta Deuel. She had lived in the Walton-Sidney Center area most of her life. She married Robert Cook March 24, 1984 at Sidney.

She was employed by Mead-Westvaco, Sidney retiring about 20 years ago.

Cora was remembered as having a good sense of humor even when she was so sick during her final illness.

She is survived by her husband: Robert Cook, several cousins, and two special friends, Marian Budine, and Reatha Beardslee.She was predeceased by her first husband, Albert Loveland.

A funeral service was held at Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, Walton on Monday morning with the Rev. Delbert Ripley, officiating. Burial was in the Ouleout Valley Cemetery, Franklin.
