Daisy M. Wood, 75, a lifelong area resident passed away unexpectedly on Monday afternoon, May 12, 2008 at the Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton.

Daisy was born in the town of Tompkins on December 14, 1932. She was the daughter of the late Clarence and Wanda M. Tuttle Wood.

She was a Homemaker and enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, crocheting, baking and cooking. Daisy was especially fond of watching Little House on the Prairie on television.

Daisy is survived by her brother, James R. Wood of Utica; several nieces, nephews & cousins; and a special friend, Diane Crandall of Walton.

She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur M. "Barney" Wood on December 14, 2007.

Friends may call on Friday afternoon, May 16, 2008 from 12 to 1 PM at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, where a funeral service will follow 1:00 pm with Rev. Jennifer Matison Juliano officiating. Interment will be in Walton Cemetery.
