Daniel James Regan, 58, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at home.

Daniel was born on July 21, 1957 in Danville, PA, son of the late James Rodman and Dorothy Marie (Jones) Regan.

Dan was raised in Bethlehem, PA where he graduated from Freedom High School. He later graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in environmental science. He was also a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School and served as a volunteer ski patrol. He worked intermittently as an environmental consultant for several businesses. Before coming to Walton, he resided in Allentown, PA; Malvern, PA; and Elmira, NY.

Dan was an exceptional photographer and wood-worker. He enjoyed collecting antiques. His house in Walton was a never-ending home-improvement project, and he frequently watched "This Old House" for the ideas it gave him for his own home. He spoiled his nieces and nephew every year at Christmas. He loved dogs and adopted many lucky strays over his lifetime.

Daniel is survived by his three siblings, David and (Cathy) Regan of Lancaster, PA; Kathy and (Chuck) Bruha of Keene, NY; William and (Nina) Regan of McLean, VA; his nieces and nephew, Bethany and Sarah Regan of Lancaster, PA; Jeffrey and Amanda Bruha of Keene, NY; and Emma and Anna Regan of McLean, VA.

Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, November 15, 2015 at 12 Noon to 1PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 1PM.
