Daniel John Sullivan 25, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening, September 13, 2009, at Delaware Valley Hospital.

Dan was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 28, 1983 the son of Joseph and Maryanne (Mulieri) Sullivan. He was a graduate of Walton High School, class of 2001. He continued his education at State University College at Oneonta where he earned a bachelors degree. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force in health services management. He was employed at Fox Hospital, Oneonta.

Dan loved music and playing his Gibson "Flying V" electric guitar where he was always ready for a jam. He also enjoyed reading and working on his computer. Dan was of the Roman Catholic Faith.

Dan is survived by his loving family, his son Daniel, of Oneonta; his parents, Joe and Maryanne, his brothers, Joseph, Christopher, Matthew, his sister Stephanie, all of Walton; his grandparents, John and Theresa Sullivan of Staten Island; aunt and uncles, John and Melissa Sullivan, Elizabeth and Mario Guzzardi, Dorothy Sullivan, all of Staten Island; and Vic Mulieri, Arlington, Texas; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Joan Mulieri.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Thursday, September 17, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church on Friday morning at 11:00 AM, with the Rev. Joseph Benintende, officiating. Burial will follow in Walton Cemetery with full military honors.
