David H. Smart, 88, formerly of Corbett passed away on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at the Hudson Park Nursing Home in Albany.

David was born on March 18, 1925 the son of the late Edward H. and Annie M. (Molds) Smart. David was last employed for Local 298 AFL-CIO, as a Laborer on Construction in Long Island.

David is survived by his children, Linda Baldassare of California; David M. Smart, New Jersey, Donna Butler of Walton; Peg (Rich) Gancio of Walton; Kevin Dugan of Rochester; Tim Dugan of Delhi; Dennis (Lorrie) Dugan of Oneonta; Tracy Dugan of Hamden; Patrick Dugan of Rochester; Ann Marie (Fran) Pardee. He is also survived by many grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his partner, Dolores E. Dugan of Gregorytown, and his daughter, Cheryl Smart of California.

A graveside service will be held at Gregorytown Cemetery sometime in the spring at the convenience of the family.
