David D. Terry, 58, of Walton passed away on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at home in Walton.

David was born April 23, 1954 in Walton, NY the son of the late Clayton and Gladys (Nichols) Terry. He graduated from Walton Central School the class of 1973.

David was a self-employed mechanic for many years and owned and operated Delaware Automotive in Walton. He also worked at Del-Met in Walton and also at Norbord Ind. in Deposit NY.

In his spare time he enjoyed working on the family farm with Uncle Bill, working in the vegetable garden, mowing lawns, and he enjoyed watching the deer in his back yard. He was a charter member of the Silver Bullet Club.

David is survived by his step children, Marilyn and Bill Copeland, Kimberly and Kevin Gregory, both of Walton; his step grandchildren, James, Allison, Tonia, Dustin, Garrett, Ethan, Katelynn, Klair, his aunt, Annabell Nichols of Palmyra, VA; his two nieces, several cousins, and many special friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Richard Terry in November 2007 and his fiance' and love of his life, Audrey M. Smith on January 11, 2013.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday evening, January 26, 2013 from 5 to 7PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be held at 7 PM with Rev. Bert More, officiating.
