Debra S. Sundstrom, 48, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 19, 2013.

Debra was born on January 4, 1965 in Sidney; the daughter of William and Sandra (Beverlin) Rieman, Sr. She graduated from Walton Central School, class of 1984.

Debra enjoyed baking and gardening, especially growing flowers and giant pumpkins and watermelons. She had won the NY State championship pumpkin which weighed in at 1500 lbs. She was a member of the Pumpkin Grower Association. Debra could often be seen with her loving companion, Shadow.

Debra is survived by her loving family, her mother and father, Sandra and Bill, her brother, William Rieman Jr and his partner, Rick Sajovic, of Painesville, Ohio; sisters, Melissa and Charles Tschuschke of Howey Hills Florida; Mary and Raymond DeGaetani of Nanuet; her very special nieces and nephew, Nicholas, Kami, Kira,and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to call on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at the New Hope Community Church, 45 Stockton Avenue, Walton. Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
