Delores H. Sanford 74, of Grand Gorge passed away on April 18, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital in New Hartford.

Delores was born on June 16, 1937 in Hamden the daughter of the late Clayton and Mae Louise (Ambron) Hawley. On June 25, 1960 she married Glenn R. Sanford. He died on December 1, 2001. She lived in the Hamden area for many years until about 20 years ago when she move to Grand Gorge. When in Hamden she attended the Delancey Presbyterian Church.

Delores was manager at Park Lane Homes in Grand Gorge. She also was a licensed real estate agent and home health care aide. In her spare time she enjoyed doing puzzles and collecting coins.

Delores is survived by her loving family, her children, Glen R. Sanford, Jr. of Oneonta; Andrew (Theresa) Sanford of Munnsville; Wendy (Tim) Kilmer of Walton; Jennifer (Fred) Gouveia of Manahawken, NJ; Reed (Jessica) Sanford of Westmooreland, TN; her grandchildren, Zachary, Justine, Jordyn, Erin, Emma, Timothy Jr., Katrina, Nicholas, Garrett, Trevor, Galadriel, Jestin, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a daughter, Myriah Sanford on September 8, 1997 and her brother Walter Lawson on November 14, 2010.

Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, April 21, 2012 from 12 Noon to 1 PM at the New Hope Community Church, 45 Stockton Ave., Walton where services will be held at 1 PM with the Rev. Larry Light officiating.
